ONI’s 902 jean is a relaxed tapered model with a classic 5-pocket top consruction. This model features a mid rise which sits comfortably on the waist and gives a little more room in the thigh before tapering gradually down to the ankle, and to add a little more interest, they have crafted this model from their mysterious ‘secret denim’. This 20oz low tension denim has the unique slubby patina that we have come to expect from the brand and is paired with a beige dyed weft which flecks through the surface of the fabric at irregular intervals, giving the denim a raw heritage feel. The fabric has been expertly woven in the iconic ONI fashion which ensures that as the denim is broken in by the wearer, the cotton softens and the indigo fades away in a manner unique to the individual. The manufacturing is as solid as you would come to expect from ONI, and features universal copper rivets, raised belt loops, heavy duty bar tacks, and durable canvas pocket bags. The back patch is made from a deep deer skin leather which is home to the company’s demonic mascot. This jean boasts a subtly cool pink selvedge line which adds a pop of colour to the cuff. The denim is unsanforized which means that you can expect up to 8% shrinkage when washed.
