This 1940’s USN chambray shirt from Buzz Rickson’s reaches a level of quality and authenticity which many have tried and failed to reach in the past. With a keen eye and no sacrifice when it comes to detail, this brand have crafted something special. The fabric is a 100% cotton chambray which has been woven on vintage shuttle looms and specially dyed in a deep blue which perfectly matches the U.S. Navy’s specifications. This blue is designed to fade into a lighter shade as it is washed and worn.

This standard fit shirt has been crafted on vintage sewing machines and features all original specifications to ensure longevity of life. Double stitched seams provide strength in construction, whilst period correct urea dish buttons in original blue provide reinforcement at the front closure. A single button collar fastening is matched with a collar stand to give a sharp, structured appearance. A reinforced shoulder yoke provides extra strength at the key stress points. The brand have also perfectly reproduced the original makers label which adorned the inside. Two simple buttoned patch pockets are present on the chest for added functionality. This shirt is a brilliant reproduction piece and is easy to wear all year round.
